Custom Products for WooCommerce
Offer your visitors a unique shopping experience.
Custom Products for WooCommerce gives you the ability to setup a store where your visitors can customize their products before buying them.
A new way of shopping online
Custom Products for WooCommerce is an extension for WooCommerce that adds a new level to the product-attribute hirearchy. Instead of assigning attributes to products, split products into multiple components and assign attributes to components.
It gives you the ability to setup a store where your visitors can customize their products before buying them.
And most importantly – you can charge them for it.
Your visitors create their own products
You give them the tool and they make their own products!
Each product can have its own set of components, and each component can have its own set of attributes.
Create unlimited components and assign them to any product. Then assign any WooCommerce attributes to those components.
Charge your customers a fee for customizing a product. Each product and each component can have its own customization fee.
If a customers adds a product that can be customized (but hasn’t been so far) to cart – show them a Customize button on the cart page and send them to the product customizer page!
Charge for customization:
- Per order
- Per product
- Per component
And of course show what was customized on the cart page, checkout page, invoice and admin order details page.
[woocp product_ids="ID1,ID2" number_of_products="NUM" width="WIDTH" order="ASC" orderby="title"]
You can use the shortcode to show product customizer anywhere on your site.
Use the Shortcode Generator or create it manually. Then copy the created shortcode and simply paste it somewhere.
Take a look at the documentation to find out how the shortcode works.
If you need more information about shortcodes you can find it here.
Variable products integration
Custom Products for WooCommerce Premium and Ultimate support variable products. You can create a customizer image for each variation, or simply show the variation or product featured image instead.
It was made to be as universal as possible so you can customize pretty much every type of product. See the demo to get an idea of what this plugin is capable of.

Future of this plugin
I have many ideas to improve this plugin, here’s a glimpse of what’s yet to come:
- Add a custom font editor (add/remove fonts)
- Add more styling options, probably a few themes and a theme selector
- Add some sort of preview of selected attributes with images
- Add a custom SVG icon tag uploader (maybe even an editor – draw your own icon)

Shortcode accepts the following parameters:
- product_ids – a comma separated list of product IDs
- category_ids – a comma separated list of category IDs
- number_of_products – limit of produts to show
- width – product customizer width (px, em, %, …)
- order – order products (ASC, DESC)
- orderby – order products by (none, ID, title, name, date, modified, rand)
Try adding the shortcode [woocp] to whatever page you’d like to display the product customizer on. To show customizer on product page enable Product page tab on the settings page.
You can install the plugin automatically via you WP dashboard (Plugins -> Add New) or manually via FTP. Check the documentation for more information.
